Interpretation before intervention

It’s easy to hand someone a workout. Knowing what that person needs, what their body is responding to, and what should change next requires more judgment. At Custom Fit Coaching, accurate interpretation precedes intelligent action.

Begin with the person

I do not separate the training plan from the person who must live it. Your movement history, current capacity, pain or symptoms, recovery, schedule, stress, preferences, confidence, and larger goals all affect what will be useful.

Treat signals as information

Fatigue, stiffness, pain, disrupted sleep, movement hesitation, hunger, and inconsistent performance are not merely inconveniences to push through. They are information. The work is to understand what they may be telling us without turning every signal into a crisis.

Calibrate as life changes

A sound plan still needs intelligent adjustment. We pay attention to how you respond, preserve what is working, and change only what the evidence supports. More is not automatically better. Neither is constant novelty.

Build capability and self-trust

My goal is not to make you permanently dependent on a coach. It is to help you become stronger, more capable, and increasingly skillful at making good decisions about your own body.

The deeper outcome of my coaching is a person who can interpret their own body wisely under real-life demands.
